Speaking

Jeanna delivers talks and workshops about the interplay between psychology and social media. She serves as both a clinician and educator, elevating perspectives on contemporary mental health issues resulting from new technologies.

Jeanna specializes in addressing the impact of social media use on adolescent mental health and well-being. She provides “media-competency” training workshops for clinicians and educators seeking to develop skills for connecting with digitally-immersed teens, and handle social media-related issues that emerge during treatment. She also facilitates media-competent parenting workshops, as well as support groups for teens/young adults with social media-related mental health concerns. In each of these capacities, her goal is to promote understanding of the unique challenges faced by modern day adolescents - and to enhance our ability to respond to these challenges.

Jeanna also serves as a clinical consultant in corporate settings, disseminating knowledge about mental health in the workplace.
